Beri Hull
Beri Hull is the Global Advocacy Officer for the International Community of Women Living with HIV and AIDS (ICW). ICW has around 15,000 members from 120 countries; ICW is the only global network of individual HIV positive women. ICW was founded in response to the desperate lack of support, information and services available to women living with HIV worldwide and the need for these women to have influence and input on policy development. Beri was diagnosed HIV + in 1993. She began as an advocate for harm reduction and people living with HIV. In the beginning her focus was geared more towards preventing HIV disease but later shifted toward care, holistic health, treatment, human rights, improving quality of life, and longevity for people living with HIV worldwide. Beri is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she was born and raised.
